Starting during my time at Carnegie Mellon and continuing on throughout my professional career, I have extensive account, biz dev and operations management experience with 11+ years of demonstrated success developing new startups. I believe that my experience building and growing OrderUp, as the Director of Company-Owned Markets, was my proudest professional achievement. It was my job to set the precedent for other territory sites to follow in order for us to be successful as a whole. What started as a team of 8 grew to a team of 50+ to lead the team to being bought by Groupon then GrubHub. We were the first and only digital franchise targeting the restaurant industry on a local level. I was part of the core team in developing the franchise platform when initially launched. Through my direct sales and marketing efforts, I boosted our existing revenue stream through the implementation of core solutions to the SaaS product while also establishing best practices moving towards the future, with my expertise honing in on consumer marketing, account management (specifically restaurant and franchise owners), and sales. I currently am fulfilling a similar role with my position as Vice President of Growth at Makomi, except our focus is the short term rental market. Unfortunately, given this past month's travel circumstances,we are incredibly unsure what the business will look like in 30/60/90 days.
