I have the ability to synthesize complex and seemingly fragmented pieces of information into usable insights and action steps.
Completing a Master's Program in two years while simultaneously working full-time at an uber-demanding company without compromise in performance.
I am a brand and marketing strategist and founder of a boutique agency, Ūimi, who collaborates with organizations to create, build, and grow their brands through purpose-driven narratives and activations. With almost a decade of brand management experience at global CPG companies, like L'Oréal and Unilever, and working on both niche and mass brands, I understand that building a business is not just about marketing and selling its product. It's about humanizing the brand and expressing its ethos in a way that engages and retains the right consumers. I've spoken at a TEDx event in Frankfurt, Germany, bridging my professional expertise and my personal life, on the topic of creating life purpose through the lens of a branding framework I created. The talk itself uncovers the “4 Ps (Perspective, Principles, Power, People) that are the pathways to bringing Purpose to the forefront of a brand. I continue to champion the importance of purpose — in lifestyle to branding and marketing — through various mediums, like podcast interviews and blog articles. I earned my Bachelor's of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and my Master's of Professional Studies in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing and Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. In my down time, I love to read books, particularly memoirs, and participate in athletic events. Honoring both hobbies, I attend a monthly book club and commit to at least one athletic event per year.
