ACT is seeking a Prompt Engineer II or Senior Prompt Engineer to join their Digital Science team and play a pivotal role in developing advanced generative AI tools for education and assessment enhancement.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include constructing high-quality prompts, collaborating with internal teams to gather requirements, refining prompts based on feedback, and documenting best practices in prompt development.
Skills: The role requires proficiency in prompt engineering techniques, programming skills in Python, familiarity with NLP and data structures, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and experience with AI services like Azure's Cognitive Services and familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Location: This is a fully remote position, with the option to work onsite or hybrid if in the Iowa City, Iowa area.
Compensation: $95000 - $125000 / Annually

We are seeking a Prompt Engineer II or Senior Prompt Engineer to help us fulfill that mission.
As part of the Digital Science team, the Prompt Engineer will collaborate to build advanced generative AI tools that enhance various aspects of education and assessment development. These include text and graphical content, workflow optimization, text extraction, and automated entity classification. Our initiatives leverage technologies such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning to drive innovation and improve learning experiences and outcomes.
The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary in the range of $95,000 to $125,000, depending on the level. ACT manages salaries within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity.
