You will be responsible for supporting our clients with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and delivery of customer support on our diagnostic solutions including genomic (NGS, scanners, sample preparation, automation…) and pathology solutions (immunochemistry, staining products, digital pathology…).
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade and preventive maintenance activities
• Contact customers in a timely manner and schedules service efficiently
• Connect with sales team to understand and meet customer needs and expectations
• Maintain Agilent’s customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and procedures
• Complete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accurately
• Provide feedback to the Product Specialists, manufacturing or OEM vendors concerning performance anomalies encountered - use the complaint handling system as required
• Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before, during and after service
For this role, you will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites mainly in Southern Italy, both in Sicilia and Calabria regions (a company car will be available to you).
We are looking for an individual with the following background:
• University degree in a Life Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology… ) or a Technical field (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Informatics…)
• Experience in a customer facing and technical support position OR as an end-user of diagnostic solutions such as genomics and/or pathology, in a laboratory environment
• Computer literacy. Knowledge of IT networks, security and data would be an advantage
• Full proficiency in Italian and good level of English (especially reading & understanding)
• A valid driving license
On a personal level, you are proactive, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team, to solve various types of problems. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
