About the role

We are searching for multiple Engineering Managers to spearhead our fast-growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of innovative, scalable solutions.

Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the processes and culture of the engineering team, driving high-quality deliverables in an agile environment. You will ensure efficient collaboration across teams, and build systems that can support our ambitious vision.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of engineers by providing direction, support, and professional growth opportunities.

  • Drive Technical Excellence: Establish and uphold high coding and performance standards, encouraging best practices across the team.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and business teams to shape technical solutions that meet business goals.

  • Process Optimization: Implement efficient development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable practices to maximize productivity and quality.

  • Troubleshoot Complex Challenges: Resolve technical and operational issues swiftly, ensuring minimal disruption to product delivery.

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a team management role.

  • Still hands on technical and able to code in Java or in one of the front end technologies

  • Proven track record in leading teams that design and deliver large-scale, distributed systems.

  • Solid experience in backend or front end technologies including Java, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis, or React, Angular and Svelte

  • Practical experience with AWS is a big plus.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

  • Ability to set and achieve strategic goals, adapting swiftly to changing priorities.
