LVN Clinical Medical Records Specialist

I. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  
  
These include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) 
  
  • Work closely with Medical Records personnel to complete medical records request.  
  • Reviewing files and records to maintain compliance via Clinical Record Review. 
  • Emailing branch or authorization nurse when items are needed to be corrected. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize medical record requests by importance & dates.  
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to audit.  
  • Excellent customer service required, and the ability to handle customers in a calm, professional, friendly, and patient manner.  
  
  
Supervisory Responsibilities:  
  • Medical Records Associate. 
 II. Performance Responsibilities:  
Although each position has its own unique duties and responsibilities, the following listing applies to every employee.  
All employees of the organization:  
  • Must work independently and with minimal supervision to accomplish assignments within scheduled time frames 
  • Will exercise necessary cost control measures.  
  • Will strive to maintain positive internal and external customer service relationships.  
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately,            listening effectively and asking questions when clarification is needed.  
  • Must be able to be depended upon to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion.  
  • Must be able to demonstrate reliability by arriving to work on time and taking breaks in expected time frames 
  • Will be expected to meet all productivity requirements.  
  • Must be able to demonstrate team behavior and must be willing to promote a team-oriented environment.  
  • Is expected to always represent the organization professionally 
  • Must be able to demonstrate initiative, strive to continually improve processes and relationships.  
  • Regular attendance required. 
  • Will always adhere to dress code policy. 
III. Education and Experience Specifications:  
  
  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Active LVN license in the State of Texas.

Pay Range : $23-$27/hr
