Senior Project Engineer

Auria is looking to hire a Senior Project Engineer to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. The primary work location can be in either Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL.

 

The Project Engineer will work with SE Leadership to manage, coordinate, and oversee the Cross-Agile Release Train and Cross-Functional Product Team efforts associated with SE contract proposals and Mods.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Will support the planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and other customer engineering estimate requests. This includes [specific tasks or responsibilities].
  • Support the development of SE IMS objective evidence and the collection of IMS status accounting and will support:
    • Cross-Spiral de-confliction
    • Functional Area Coordination
    • Schedule/Resource issue resolution

 

Basic Qualifications:

Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable.

  • Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience
    • or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience,
    • or a PhD and 4 years of experience,
    • or 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with:
    • Planning
    • Scheduling
    • Project Management
    • EVMS
  • Systems Engineering and Architecture
  • Experience in developing and managing project teams and schedules
  • Experience in Development Lifecycle and knowledge of spiral development processes
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage, coordinate, and oversee cross-functional area efforts associated with both the Sustainment and Development lifecycle management
  • Experience with project planning, cost, schedule & performance
  • Previous experience with development programs and deployment execution activities

Salary Range:The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($125,000 - $140,000).
