SCOPE OF WORK
Incumbent will support the PR Finance Team with cost accounting or general accounting processes and support the mfg transfers projects.
Scope/Timeline:
The incumbent will be responsible for completing all assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner while identifying opportunities for improvement within the supported processes.
Deliverables:
Coordinate and manage the job of assigned team members.
Perform month end closing activities.
Review, analyze and monthly report manufacturing variances (Material, Spending, Labor) and/or budget vs actual spending variances). Gather financial data (e.g., scrap, volume, labor costs) and analyze it to identify major contributors to variances.
Assist with the forecasting, annual strategy review and budget.
Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations for assigned areas.
Support general and cost accounting reports creation (e.g., Volume/Absorption, Labor Hours). Identify areas of improvement and propose recommendations to management.
Business partnering with manufacturing and support areas.
Facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement projects (e.g., automation, waste elimination).
Interface with internal/external partners to respond to inquiries for assigned areas
Other Add-Oc assignments related to Finance/Accounting requests

Requirements/ Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred
4 years of previous experience in Cost Accounting and/or General Accounting required
Strict attention to detail and superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite required; integrated systems (e.g., JDE) preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, and negotiation skills
