Join the CentraCare team as a Registered Nurse in the Urgent Care Clinic at the CentraCare Plaza. 

Urgent Care serves patients from newborns to elderly. We're seeking an RN that has experience working with a diverse patient population. The Registered Nurse provides care to patients in a clinic setting working as a valuable member of the health care team making independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider. In this setting, the RN is primarily responsible for triaging symptom-based walk in patients that present to the clinic and functions as a liaison between providers, patients, and staff in the delivery of nursing care. The RN collaborates with other health care team members, supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices, maintains professional competencies and possesses the ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff. 

Schedule:

  • Full Time | 72 hours every 2 weeks
  • 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., every third weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun), and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits

  • $3,500 hiring bonus

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy required.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
