While we're based in Seattle, this role is ideal for someone living in Eastern Washington as the current route goes from Okanogan to Yakima to Grandview.

  • $30-$32 per hour dependent on experience.

Job Description

The Role

Charlie’s Produce believe in sales through merchandisers - they make it happen!

The Retail Merchandiser is responsible for general merchandising responsibilities at assigned stores. This role is designed to maximize produce product rotation and customer service through effective planning, relationship-building, and in-store servicing. A major objective of this role is to establish and maintain rapport with key store individuals while providing outstanding customer service. 

  • Maintain a professional demeanor with the public and store personnel when performing duties.
  • Ensure produce on displays and shelves meet quality expectations by properly rotating product.
  • Conduct customer needed assessments and report to supervisor via email.
  • Ensure schematics and maintain shelf/cooler cleanliness.
  • Conduct impromptu store visits, working with customers' schedules.
  • Located in Eastern Washington as the current route you will be responsible for is Okanogan to Yakima to Grandview.
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years produce merchandising experience.
  • Bilingual - Must be able to take direction, read, and write in Spanish as well as English.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel 90% commitment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (does not include cannabis).
  • Must be willing to sign an arbitration agreement.
  • Clean motor vehicle report.
