Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our Energy and Resources team. You'll be at the heart of renewable energy and transportation electrification projects across Canada. As part of our passionate electrical energy team, you'll benefit from expert advice and professional development opportunities. You'll also work on sites and with customers to put your skills into practice in the field. We offer a flexible hybrid work model allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices in Quebec (Montreal, Sherbrooke).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design electrical plans using AutoCAD software;
  • Support the design of EV charging stations of all kinds (public, private, L2, L3, MCS).
  • Support the engineer in charge in the design of plans and specifications;
  • Support/mentor junior technicians;
  • Visit sites to determine the nature of the work to be carried out;
  • Carry out field surveys;
  • Carrying out work supervision, in residence or as support (on an occasional basis);
  • Ensuring rigorous monitoring of projects

Qualifications

  • College Diploma (AEC or DEC) in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work on different projects simultaneously
  • Fluency in written and spoken French
  • Fluency in spoken and written English in a professional context in order to work on projects outside QC
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Available for short-term travel
  • Knowledge of utility distribution networks (an asset)
