The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Lead to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our Accounting Product Suite. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer/General Manager, you will be a full-stack product leader, responsible for shaping the product's future while ensuring its successful delivery and adoption. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leveraging your fintech expertise and B2B or B2B2B experience to deliver exceptional value to our clients and their customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy:

    • Collaborate with the Chief Customer Officer/General Manager to define and refine the overarching product vision and strategy for the Accounting Product Suite, aligning it with Codat's overall goals.

    • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategic product decisions within the accounting domain.

    • Develop and own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs, specifically within the accounting product area.

  • Product Discovery and Execution:

    • Lead the product discovery process, gathering insights from customers, stakeholders (including fintechs, banks, and SMB service providers), and market trends.

    • Define and prioritise product requirements, creating clear and concise business analysis, user stories and specifications for the Accounting Product Suite.

    • Lead a product engineering team to ensure valuable, timely and high-quality delivery of whole product solutions.

  • Adoption and Commercialisation:

    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, working with sales and customer teams to drive product adoption among our bank and fintech target client base.

    • Use data to obsess about product performance and client experience, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation within the Accounting Product Suite.

    • Develop a clear understanding of our Product Market Fit and contribute to proposition strategy and development.

    • Drive product commercialisation and client enablement, ensuring alignment with pricing and revenue goals.

  • Team Leadership and Management:

    • Line manage, coach and mentor other members of the Product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

    • Build and develop a high-performing product team, attracting and retaining top talent.

    • Be prepared to take on further line management as the team and product suite grows.
