About the role


The Product Marketing Director will be responsible for driving Conduktor’s product positioning, messaging, and marketing execution. You’ll work closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to define and communicate the value of Conduktor’s products to key stakeholders, including enterprise IT decision-makers, CTOs, and data engineers. You’ll also ensure alignment across teams to drive revenue growth, user adoption, and market leadership. This is a leadership role where you will oversee the end-to-end product marketing lifecycle, from strategic planning and positioning to execution and optimization. You will lead a team of product marketers and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure Conduktor’s products are marketed effectively to our enterprise customers.


What will you be doing?
  • Define and refine Conduktor’s product positioning with clear, differentiated messaging that resonates with enterprise customers and aligns with market needs, focusing on Kafka, real-time data streaming, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches, aligning sales, marketing, and customer success to maximize adoption and market impact.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality product marketing content, including case studies, white papers, webinars, and sales collateral, positioning Conduktor as a thought leader in the Kafka and data streaming space.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success to equip them with the right tools, training, and messaging while working with product management to influence roadmap decisions based on market needs.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to refine product positioning, track performance, and inform marketing strategies using data-driven insights.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability to align with broader sales and marketing goals.


What experience are we looking for?
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role within enterprise SaaS, data streaming, or cloud technologies, with a proven track record of launching and positioning enterprise products.
  • Expertise in driving product adoption and revenue growth through innovative marketing campaigns, go-to-market strategies, and positioning within the Kafka, data streaming, or cloud-native ecosystem.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills to assess product performance, customer needs, and competitive landscape, translating data into actionable insights and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives, create engaging content, and simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experienced leader with a history of managing and mentoring marketing teams while collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success to align on product marketing initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
