Collections Officer (AU IT Solutions Industry, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday- Friday (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years’ previous experience in collections
  • Very strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Customer focused and goal oriented
  • Strong capability to manage the range of information on portfolio under management
  • Experience in working with Excel and other Office software
  • Flexibility, team spirited, reliable, focused, self-motivated
  • Oral communication skills are key to success in the job. This involves providing information to, explaining procedures to and, in particular, negotiating with customers to help them arrange payment of their debt

  • Invoicing
  • Knowledge in Xero Software

What will you do?

  • Lead collections efforts by managing and resolving delinquent accounts effectively;
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to negotiate payment terms and solutions;
  • Monitor account status and maintain accurate records of all communications;
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and improve collection strategies;
  • Dealing with billing issues and general enquiries as well?
  • Bank allocations for receipts
  • Process direct debits
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies;
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline the collections process;
  • Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity;
  • Train and mentor new team members on best practices in collections;
