Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Director to join our team in the healthcare industry. The HR Director will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This position will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive HR Functional Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee relations. Ability to design and implement effective HR policies and frameworks.
  • Recruiting Strategy & Workforce Planning: Lead recruitment efforts by developing and executing talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals. Focus on employer branding, building talent pipelines, and utilizing data-driven methods to attract and retain top talent across multiple functions.
  • Legal and Compliance Acumen: In-depth understanding of labor laws, workplace safety regulations, and contract management. Ensure organizational compliance, minimize legal risks, and address disputes such as wrongful termination claims.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR analytics (turnover trends, performance indicators, compensation benchmarks) to support strategic workforce planning and drive organizational performance.
  • Organizational Culture Development: Cultivate and promote a strong, values-driven workplace culture that enhances employee engagement, well-being, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication with senior leadership, business units, and employees. Successfully lead change management initiatives and facilitate the smooth implementation of HR policies.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Manage complex negotiations related to compensation, vendor agreements, and employee relations. Balance organizational priorities with employee needs to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Crisis Management: Proven experience managing HR crises, including workforce reductions, labor disputes, and public relations challenges, while maintaining compliance and demonstrating empathy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) highly desirable.
  • OSHA Certification,
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the life science industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly in the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
