Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices nationwide. We partner with businesses and jobseekers to place qualified individuals efficiently. Currently, we are looking for Marine Painters in Newport News, VA.

Description:

  • Thoroughly clean and prepare surfaces before applying coatings.
  • Apply various coatings using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other application tools.
  • Mix paints and coatings to achieve desired color, texture, and viscosity that meet industry standards and regulations for marine application.
  • Inspect surfaces for proper preparation before applying coatings.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of work, including coatings used, surface preparation methods, and any relevant observations or recommendations for future maintenance.
  • 2 years of maritime painting required.
  • Must be DBIDS eligible.
  • 10- panel drug screen required.
  • Candidates must be available to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as required.
