Job Description

  • Filing incoming program materials such as eligibility and verification documentation, employment plans, progress reports, copies of credentials according to file system
  • Searching for and investigating information contained in files, maintaining a file tracking system, keeping files current and supplying information from file data or remove files upon request; purging files in accordance with local, State and Federal regulations
  • Collect program eligibility documents and schedule intake appointments with Career Advisors
  • Covering the reception and career center areas, answering phones, greeting customers and assisting job seekers, on an as needed basis
  • Providing administrative support and completing special projects as assigned by the Director and Managers
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma required
  • Related clerical experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 is required
  • Must be detail-oriented and understand filing systems
  • Must be very organized and have the ability to handle a fast-paced office environment and multiple tasks simultaneously
