Talent Acquisition Specialist

At FeedbackFruits, we're on a mission to transform education through technology. We believe education is key to facing society's future challenges and achieving our full potential as individuals. We build technology-supported learning activities that help teachers turn curiosity into lifelong learning and critical thinking.

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our growth, helping us find the passionate, talented people who will drive our mission forward. You'll work across departments to understand needs, manage the full recruitment lifecycle, and ensure a smooth, positive, and inclusive candidate experience.

Just to give you an idea, this is what your week could look like in this role:

Monday: On Monday, we have the weekly people team check-in. Together with the team you discuss what is pressing and where you might need help. You'll align on priorities and discuss any new hiring needs. You'll spend time updating job descriptions with hiring managers and planning your sourcing strategy for the week.

Tuesday: Your morning is dedicated to sourcing candidates for our open roles across departments. You'll explore various channels beyond LinkedIn, finding creative ways to reach diverse talent pools. In the afternoon, you have your 1:1 with the Head of People to discuss your progress and any challenges and you’ll do your screening calls.

Wednesday: Today might also be your screening day. You'll connect with potential candidates, share our mission, and assess their fit for our roles. You'll update our ATS with detailed feedback and move qualified candidates through to the next stage.

Thursday: You're partnering with Marketing to enhance our employer brand. Together, you're crafting social media content that showcases our unique culture and planning for upcoming recruitment events. Later, you'll analyze recent recruitment data in Ashby to optimize our processes and to make informed decisions.

Friday: Today's about closing candidates and keeping hiring managers updated. You'll have offer discussions, negotiate terms, and ensure candidates have everything they need to make an informed decision. You'll wrap up the week by celebrating new hires and wins with the team.

This is an indication of what we think your week could look like. How it will really be is up to you. We give you the freedom to do your best work and deliver it in a way you feel most comfortable with.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with hiring managers across departments, acting as their trusted advisor while also providing constructive pushback when needed to ensure we make the best hiring decisions.

  • Manage the entire recruitment journey from sourcing to offer, creating an exceptional candidate experience that results in high candidate NPS scores.

  • Get creative with sourcing strategies that go beyond LinkedIn to find diverse, talented people who share our passion.

  • Drive data-informed decisions by analyzing metrics in Ashby, monitoring pipeline health, and regularly presenting insights to leadership.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, working smart rather than hard to create efficient recruiting workflows.

  • Represent FeedbackFruits as a brand ambassador, showcasing our unique culture and mission to potential candidates.

About you:

You thrive in the dynamic environment of a scale-up, embracing change and continuous improvement. You're comfortable with some uncertainty and excited about making a difference in education through your work.

Your skills and experience:

  • You have 3+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience, preferably in fast-growing, international environments.

  • You're skilled in various sourcing methods and comfortable thinking outside the LinkedIn box.

  • You have experience with ATS platforms, preferably Ashby, and you love using data to optimize recruitment processes.

  • You're passionate about automation and finding smart solutions that save time and improve results.

  • You excel at stakeholder management, knowing when to adapt your approach and when to push back constructively.

  • You're passionate about our educational mission.

  • You bring dynamic energy and a "make it happen" mentality.

  • You communicate excellently in English, both written and verbally.

  • You care deeply about candidate experience and genuinely enjoy connecting with people.

  • You work independently, take ownership, and know how to prioritize effectively.

  • You're available 32-40 hours per week and able to work from our Amsterdam office 2-3 days per week.
