Your impact

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern, you'll support the EU Sales team from our Amsterdam office. Your work will directly impact the team's sales goals and help build a robust pipeline for future growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing startup turned scale-up, along with valuable mentorship from experienced professionals.

You'll work alongside Account Executives, other Business Development Representatives, Sales Operations Specialists, Pilot Success Specialists, and Partner Success Managers. This collaborative environment provides an excellent opportunity to learn the ins and outs of SaaS sales while contributing to our mission of improving higher education.

Responsibilities

1. Business Development (70% of your time)

  • You'll manage reactive funnels

  • You'll provide product demonstrations

  • You'll explain the core of FeedbackFruits to new prospects

  • You'll assist prospects using tools when integrated in Sandbox environments

  • You'll find new prospects and engage in cold calling

  • You'll analyze new market opportunities

2. Sales Support (25% of your time)

  • You'll maintain our demonstration environments

  • You'll assist in developing marketing materials

  • You'll write content for various sales and marketing purposes

3. Business Strategy Input (5% of your time)

  • You'll provide knowledge and input on business strategy

  • You'll continually develop your understanding of the higher education technology landscape

Qualifications

  • You're currently enrolled as an HBO/Bachelor student for the duration of the internship

  • You're based in the Netherlands and able to work from our Amsterdam office

  • You're fluent in English (spoken and written)

  • You're self-driven, highly motivated, and passionate about improving higher education with technology

  • You're eager to learn the ins and outs of sales (past sales experience is a bonus, but not required)

  • You're the first to follow up and love getting things done

  • You seek constructive criticism and are direct and open with others

  • You're passionate about making a positive impact on the world

  • You're available to start the internship in May 2025
