While safety is a serious business, we are a supportive team that is optimizing the remote experience to create strong and fulfilling relationships even when we are physically apart. Our group of hard-working employees thrive in a positive and inclusive environment, where a bias towards action is rewarded.

We have raised over $700M in venture capital from investors including Tiger Global, Andreessen Horowitz, Matrix Partners, Bedrock Capital, Meritech Capital Partners, and Initialized Capital. Now surpassing a $7.5B valuation, Flock is scaling intentionally and seeking the best and brightest to help us meet our goal of reducing crime in the United States by 25% in the next three years.

The Opportunity

Our Device Engineering organization requires technical project management to ensure our embedded software, hardware, and quality teams successfully deliver on business goals. This portfolio of initiatives includes power products to enable infrastructure free deployments, accessories for current and emerging products, projects to enable special operations and manufacturing initiatives, and general process improvement efforts.

  • Ability to develop plans that are properly aligned with key stakeholders, including product management, operations, and leadership to ensure dependencies are fleshed out and project goals are clear

  • Capable of identifying gaps or risks and moving quickly to mitigate those issues. At Flock we take ownership and resolve problems, never assuming ‘someone else is going to take care of it’

  • Ability to foster a great project environment with communication at its core - you will facilitate team meetings, keep the team on priority tasks, document assumptions and decisions, wrangle slack conversations, and anything else it takes to ensure consistent alignment and forward progress

  • Have a technical background that provides the foundation for navigating our engineering environment with ease

  • Have experience with project management software. Specific administrative experience with the Atlassian (Jira) portfolio is preferred

  • Have proven experience as a member of a development team that has shipped consumer or IOT electronic devices

  • Have familiarity with embedded software solutions, especially Android!
