Location: USA Remote with preference to Mid-West 

About the Role

The Key Account Manager is responsible for the delivery of business results and building relationships at Key accounts. The role will be focused on our Spreads portfolio and expanding the Violife Dairy Free cheese brand, as well as new categories such as Coffee Creamers.  

The candidate must have a strong business acumen and must also possess the ability to build great relationships, both internally and externally.   Prior experience with major accounts is a must.

 Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve profit, volume, distribution, and other key metrics as agreed.
  • Develop and implement sales plans for both new and existing businesses.
  • Build value-enhancing relationships with key customers.
  • Negotiation of contractual terms to ensure maximum ROI for Flora Food US.
  • Work closely with our broker partner, Advantage Solutions, to evaluate and monitor business trends.

About you

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience with direct account management in CPG Sales AND Management of Brokers
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills.
  • Strong Planning and Analytical Skills.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal and written. 
  • Understanding of P&L, financial projections, and financial metrics.
  • Knowledge of Sales Planning Systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to travel - customer visits and team meetings.
