Job Description

Freshworks is looking for a highly creative and tech-savvy Learning Experience Designer to join our expanding Revenue Enablement team. In this role, you'll lead the design and development of impactful, measurable learning programs and resources that empower Freshworks teams to engage with and sell our products effectively. You'll partner closely with our Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to create educational content and training materials that enhance sales performance and product knowledge. With a deep understanding of adult learning principles, you'll translate complex business requirements into engaging and effective learning solutions in collaboration with subject matter experts and key stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to shape the learning experiences that fuel our sales, partner, and customer success teams. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborative Curriculum Design: Partner with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to co-create dynamic curricula for live classrooms, workshops, and e-learning experiences, utilizing AGILE methodologies for continuous improvement and flexibility. 
  • Global Scalable Training: Design and deliver cutting-edge training solutions (live in-person, live virtual, and asynchronous) that are scalable across global audiences. Create engaging exercises, tutorials, job aids, knowledge assessments, and integrate social or connected learning strategies using multi-media-based assets. 
  • Information Architecture: Craft clear and logical information structures to ensure content flows intuitively and is easily understood. Apply learning science principles to enhance knowledge retention and learner engagement. 
  • eLearning Design: Utilize advanced eLearning authoring tools to develop interactive and immersive online learning experiences. Focus on content structure, clarity, and effective writing to collaborate seamlessly with eLearning developers. 
  • Ongoing Quality Assessment: Regularly assess training solutions for quality, scalability, and impact on learner behavior and business objectives. Implement iterative improvements to drive measurable outcomes. 
  • Technology - Enhanced Learning: Harness the power of innovative technologies to maximize learner access and deliver just-in-time learning opportunities. Continuously explore and incorporate emerging tech to craft engaging and memorable learning experiences. 
  • Innovative Learning Solutions: Stay at the forefront of learning methodologies, technologies, and tools. Conduct ongoing research to ensure our learning solutions are cutting-edge and effective in meeting evolving learner needs. 
  • Outcome-Oriented Assessment: Design robust assessments that accurately measure learner performance, ensuring alignment with desired outcomes and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. 

Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tue-Thur) from our Greater Boston area office. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing online instructional activities, live workshops, learning experiences (including interactive eLearning modules and job aids) to support adult learners
  • Working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience creating learning evaluation plans
  • Strong knowledge of inclusive and accessible design, including WCAG
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning
  • Graduate degree in learning design, learning science, instructional design, educational psychology, or similar field 

Additional Information

This role is based in the Greater Boston Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs, and. market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus. 

Compensation Package

$122,400 - $175,000 Base Salary
