POSITION OVERVIEW 

FRONTSTEPS is on a mission to build intuitive software solutions that foster transparency, efficiency, and collaboration for everyone who calls an association home. The Caliber platform is a powerful community management system, supporting HOAs, condos, and co-ops with robust financial and operational tools. 


We are seeking a Product Owner (PO) with at least one year of experience, along with prior experience as a Business Analyst (BA) in a SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SaaS architecture, experience leveraging third-party APIs, and the ability to translate complex technical documentation into clear, actionable user stories. 


As a Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA to define development priorities that align with business objectives. This role requires: 

- A strong analytical mindset and comfort with data-driven decision-making 

- The ability to leverageAI and BI tools to optimize product outcomes 

- A deep understanding of SaaS product development and best practices 


This position is based in Denver, CO, and requires in-office work—it is not hybrid or remote. 


IMMEDIATE VALUE OBJECTIVES
  • Ramp up quickly by deeply understanding the Caliber platform, integrated partners, and its role within the FRONTSTEPS Suite. 
  • Enhance AI and BI capabilities to drive efficiency and improve product decision-making. 
  • Support integrations and initiatives that advance FRONTSTEPS' end-to-end ecosystem of community management solutions. 
  • Refine and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clear, well-defined user stories that improve sprint velocity. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Act as the bridge between business and engineering, ensuring that customer needs are reflected in product development. 
  • Regularly engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify value-added features. 
  • Translate product vision into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria, using AI tools to enhance documentation quality and team efficiency. 
  • Drive organizational visibility into product development progress and completion. 
  • Lead agile teams through sprint planning, backlog management, and release cycles, ensuring high-quality deliverables. 
  • Collaborate with QA, Engineers, and Product Managers to ensure timely execution of the product roadmap. 
  • Use Power BI, SQL, and analytics tools to measure product adoption and user engagement. 
  • Advocate for automation and efficiency, using AI to streamline internal workflows. 


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • 1+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS environment. 
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software development, SaaS, or data-driven environments. 
  • Experience defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs in an agile development process. 
  • Strong understanding of APIs, Web Services, and SQL to support data-driven decisions. 
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and AI-driven product development. 
  • Experience working in integrated software environments, ideally within community management, financial services, or operations-heavy SaaS platforms. 
  • Ability to prioritize demands and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced product team. 


$75,000 - $105,000 a year
This position is a full-time, exempt position based out of our Denver, CO Headquarters and pays an annual salary of $75,000 - $105,000.

This position will remain open through at least March 31st, 2025 and will stay open as long as the position has not been filled.
