Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Addiction Recovery Care | Hillsborough, CA

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient vitals, medical history, and lab results to guide individualized care.
  • Monitor withdrawal symptoms using CIWA and COWS scales to ensure safe recovery.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including MAT, under physician supervision.
  • Identify and address physical or mental health concerns promptly.
  • Maintain detailed, timely, and compliant electronic health records.
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and counselors to create holistic treatment plans.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to fellow healthcare professionals.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and healing environment for patients and staff alike.

Qualifications:

  • Active California PA or NP license
  • MSN degree (for NPs) with board certification (FNP, ANP, PMHNP)
  • DEA license, NPI number, and Board of Pharmacy License
