Key Responsibilities:
• Define and manage the build and release process across multiple environments.
• Manages and executes the Product Roadmap & Release Plan
• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build failures and deployment issues.
• Assess the state of the production environment for each product release.
• Prepare for agile planning, process definition, source control, defect tracking, and build management.
• Automate software build and deployment processes to improve efficiency.
• Work with development and operations teams to ensure code quality and integration.
• Implement version control and branching strategies.
• Operate in a DevOps environment comprised of Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, NPM.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in build management.
• IRS institutional knowledge and in-depth understanding of the OLA program, delivery partners, and system design
• Experience with IRS processing systems and tools.
• Experience working on Agile teams and leveraging the latest tools, techniques, and methods for building and deploying server-side applications.
• Proficient in managing CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline the integration and deployment processes.
• Skilled in configuring and maintaining build environments to ensure stability and reliability.
• Comfortable operating within an agile and lean environment to consistently deploy updates and enhancements.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Maven, Jenkins build pipelines (including groovy pipeline scripting), SonarQube, Nexus, Babel, Webpack, Node.js, NPM, Git, Kubernetes, Kustomize, OpenShift, ISTIO, Kubernetes, AWS, Bash scripting or GitFlow
