To become a Registered Nurse (RN) at Infirmary Health in Mobile, candidates must possess an Associate Degree in Nursing. Additionally, if you’re hoping to work in our Free-standing Emergency Departments, you need to show proof of either one year of Emergency Department experience or one year of experience in an ICU. A current Alabama RN license or a Multi State RN License under the Nurse Licensure Compact is also necessary.

Participation in Code Teams is also required and will happen after you have been with us for six months, following the successful completion of relevant courses like ACLS, PALS, or NRP, as appropriate to your department.

While a BSN or MS degree in Nursing is not mandatory for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Infirmary Health, it is certainly desired. Having higher educational qualifications may improve your chances for advancement within the organization and enable you to take on more complex cases.
