The User Experience group within Client Graphics is responsible for designing and delivering Intel's software applications covering both our graphics installer and graphics SW feature enabling applications. These applications allow our customers to install and configure their SW Feature experience for all discrete and integrated Intel Graphics Products. The User Experience team develops these applications from the ground up and interfaces directly with our SW driver components to create feature rich SW experiences for Intel graphics product customers.

As a User Interface Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and design our Intel Arc user interfaces
  • Developing and/or validating UI application software that enables Intel GPU software features
  • Span across driver APIs, the UI application layer, tools, infrastructure, SDKs, and technologies necessary to develop and productize Intel Graphics UI's and software solutions
  • Stretch across development, integration, validation, teamwork, technologies, APIs and frameworks needed to successfully create feature rich graphics user interface experiences for our customers
  • Develop and/or validate software that enables Intel GPUs; scope can spans the entire stack, from firmware and device drivers through APIs and the application layer, and may also include the tools, infrastructure, and technologies necessary to develop, profile, optimize, and productize Intel GPUs or graphics/GPGPU software solutions

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related STEM degree
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant work experience within Software Application Development with a focus on: Graphics User Interface Design, C#, .NET, Windows API, WPF and XAML


Nice to have:

  • Advanced expertise in .NET 9 (C#) and WPF (XAML)
  • Proficiency in writing unit tests (NUnit)
  • Strong experience with Windows API, particularly SetupAPI and device driver installation mechanisms
  • Understanding of Windows Installer concepts, including INF-based driver installation, digital signatures, and security policies
