Sales Engineer, Operating Room Integration

Location: This role will reside in and cover the St. Louis/ Minneapolis MN area

This role will require upto 80% travel

What You will Be Doing:  

 

  • Sales & Quota Management: Meet or exceed sales quotas for OR integration solutions, accurately forecast pipelines, and analyze wins and losses for future opportunities.
  • Strategic Selling: Create and execute strategic plans to expand market share. Lead complex negotiations with healthcare institutions and present technical solutions to diverse stakeholders, from IT, Clinical to C-suite executives.
  • Technical Expertise: Act as a consultant for hardware and software integration, demonstrating strong knowledge in areas like IT, cloud solutions and AV systems. Facilitate solution-based selling across large, multi-level deals.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams, ensuring seamless technical deployment and a superior customer experience.

What You Bring :

 

  • Experience: 5+ years of B2B sales, preferably in medical devices or operating room environments. Healthcare IT experience preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT systems, networking, AV systems, and medical technologies (e.g., PACS, VNA, eHR) preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to manage complex priorities and multiple stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Must be willing to travel locally (up to 30 hours per week) and occasionally (10%) domestically.
  • Ability to handle medical equipment weighing up to 35 lbs.
