Our client is looking for a talented Family Office Director to lead their investment and wealth management strategies.

Role Overview: As the Family Office Director, you will be responsible for managing the family's investments and financial interests while ensuring a focus on strategic growth and risk management. This position entails overseeing a portfolio of investments, driving financial performance, and implementing best practices in wealth management and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the family's long-term financial goals.
  • Oversee asset allocation, portfolio management, and risk assessment across a diversified investment portfolio.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments and provide recommendations to the family for strategic decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with banks, fund managers, brokers, and other financial institutions.
  • Monitor and report on overall portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices in the management of family assets.
  • Oversee tax planning and wealth transfer strategies to optimize the family's financial position.
  • Coordinate financial reporting and provide comprehensive financial education to family members.
  • Engage with external advisors, including legal and tax professionals, to ensure holistic management of family wealth.
  • Foster a culture of transparency and learning within the family office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, wealth management, or family office roles.
  • In-depth understanding of investment strategies, asset classes, and portfolio management principles.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing family wealth and investments.
  • Strong client service mindset and ability to build trusting relationships with family members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
