As Strategy Manager Mobile Network, you shape and drive the future of KPN’s mobile access and core networks. Your responsibility goes beyond defining vision—you lead transformation programs, collaborate across departments, and translate ideas into real progress. You’ll be working in the Network & Cloud team, a tight-knit group of strategists, architects, and transformation experts. The team thrives on innovation, customer-centric thinking, and real impact. Within the Technology Office, collaboration is the norm, and everyone contributes to building the networks of tomorrow.

  • Develop and implement strategies and architectures for future mobile access and core networks
  • Lead the transformation from current 2G, 4G, and 5G Non-SA to future-proof mobile solutions
  • Design and drive transformation programs, leading multidisciplinary teams in execution
  • Coach teams on adopting new technologies, processes, and ways of working
  • Inspire and align stakeholders through compelling business cases and presentations at board level

You’re a visionary with a pragmatic mindset. You understand telecom deeply, spot trends early, and connect strategy with execution. You lead with energy, communicate with clarity, and bring people along in change. Your broad experience and strategic insight enable you to shape KPN’s mobile future with confidence. To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following:

  • Deep telecom experience, with strong expertise in mobile network evolution and transformation
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and align stakeholders
  • Proven ability to turn technical trends into business strategy and value
  • A proactive, forward-looking approach and extensive C-level stakeholder management experience
  • Demonstrated success in 4G/5G strategy development and mobile network transformation

As an employer, we offer you an attractive package, including:

  • Gross monthly salary between €6,576 and €10,389, depending on your experience (based on 40 hours)
  • A fixed 13th-month salary, partially paid monthly and partially in January, or you can allocate it to a FLEX & BOOST goal of your choice
  • Annual individual and collective salary increases according to our collective labor agreement (CAO)
  • €1,500 per year for personal development, which you can use for training, coaching, or courses
  • Flexible vacation days, where you decide (in consultation with your manager) how to take time off
  • Work-life balance: Hybrid working (2 days at the office, 3 days at home), transition leave, and the option to swap public holidays for a cultural or religious holiday of your choice
  • Home office setup, including a mobile phone & laptop
  • 50% discount on KPN products and services, so you can stream, call, and browse at a lower cost
  • Full reimbursement of public transport costs or €0.23 per km for travel by car. Prefer cycling? Get €0.40 per km as a bicycle allowance
  • Lease bike program: If you have a permanent contract, KPN contributes to the monthly cost of a city bike, e-bike, road bike, or speed pedelec
  • Excellent pension plan: 23% total contribution, with KPN covering 16% and you contributing 7%
