Floor Care Associate

Overview

Your attention to detail will leave a lasting impression on patients, visitors and staff. As you maintain the cleanliness and safety of rooms, patient care areas, offices, hallways and other assigned areas, you will set the tone for a healthcare environment that seeks to make life better for patients, the community and each other.

Responsibilities

Cleans a variety of materials including carpeting, various type floorings and furniture.  Floor maintenance duties include finish removal, neutralizing and application of various floor finishes.  Overall job functions require the proper use of an array of cleaning equipment and chemicals.  Cleans and provides preventative maintenance on equipment as required.  Performs routine housekeeping duties, such as patient room cleaning, isolation room cleaning and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Able to read and write in English.  Must be able to perform basic math skills.  Must be able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal as well as stressful conditions.  Basic familiarity with computers preferred.
