Director of Football Operations

To serve the Liberty University athletics department, primarily football, in efforts to support the University’s mission to help student athletes grow spiritually, and to help guide them through personal challenges that they will face. Serve as Director of Operations and perform other administrative duties.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Must abide by all NCAA rules and regulations.

2. Housing/meal card/parking coordinator.

3. Team Travel Coordinator.

4. Assist with football budget.

5. Coordinat Team Meals.

6. Coordinate Game Day Operations.

7. Facilities Coordinator.

8. Coordinate rental car needs.

9. Human Resource Liaison.

10. New Staff/Exiting Staff Coordinator.

11. Temporary housing when needed.

12. Summer Job Assistance.

13. Assist the Chief of Staff in projects.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversees student workers, interns, and works closely with players and academic staff.

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies

Bachelor’s degree. Master’s Preferred.  Four years of experience in college athletics, preferably with FBS football.
