Senior Vice President, Governance, Risk and Service Delivery Management

Overall:
As part of the Global People Operations & Insights team, Mastercard is seeking a lead to enable and implement the end-to-end P&C Governance, Risk and Service Delivery Management strategy for the Company. This leader will work closely with the HR Leadership Team, COEs, CRO, Corporate Security, Legal, GBSC. P&C Tech, Employee Digital Experience team, and the business units to gather active and passive insights, along those moments that matter.
The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about defining and scaling practical and pragmatic risk, governance and service delivery management approaches for our people practices. They thrive in complex environments, seek multiple perspectives and turn feedback and data into action. They understand how, and are motivated, to define the strategy and the design of solutions to deliver impact at scale while connecting dots. They leverage their expertise and understanding of the people processes, end to end, to design the strategy and translate feedback, data and business as well as market perspective into action galvanizing the P&C function and business leaders that will drive productivity, mitigate risk and increase performance.

Role:
Own implementation of Mastercard's Governance, Risk and Service Delivery Management Vision, developing the strategy, roadmap and driving execution
Define, implement and scale service delivery, risk, and governance strategies that shape the operational framework across P&C.
Establish a close-loop-feedback system with employees, people leaders and the key P&C stakeholders such as regional PBPs to enable transparency and operational excellence in service of continuous improvement
Lead the team and the relationship with Chief Risk Office, Legal and Corporate Security to ensure policy clarity and implementation
Owns and manages the service delivery guild and ~ 25 service delivery practitioners
Owns all P&C operational rythms: Governance around key areas such as budget, QOR, and planning cycles: Need for prioritization between GBSC, technology, and service delivery management teams due to high demand exceeding supply. Explore opportunities for investment in various areas.
Crisis management: Single Hipoint of contact for operational processes around crisis management in P&C
Establish governance and risk standards as well as roadmap, and drives execution of service delivery management for the function especially the trade-off choices across design and delivery across quality, cost and experience

• Demonstrated experience leading large scale HR or analytics programs in a complex, matrixed environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead a project team without hierarchical authority by creating clarity, generating energy, and delivering success through teamwork
• Demonstrated ability to effectively balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while upholding program vision, strategy and goals
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve challenging goals in a complex environment, while continuously scanning the environment for adaptations needed to achieve those goals
• Strong influencing capabilities
• Strong project management and problem solving skills with the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience with design thinking methods

Total Base Pay Range

220,000.00 - 400,000.00 USD Annual

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance), flexible spending account and health savings account, paid leaves (including 16 weeks new parent leave, up to 20 paid days bereavement leave), 10 annual paid sick days, 10 or more annual paid vacation days based on level, 5 personal days, 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays, 401k with a best-in-class company match, deferred compensation for eligible roles, fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities, eligibility for tuition reimbursement, gender-inclusive benefits and many more.
