Job Description:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking costs, change orders, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Review contracts, submittals, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Attend project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and solutions.
  • Work closely with clients, engineers, and field personnel to ensure project success.
  • Ensure all safety regulations and quality standards are upheld on-site.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Process Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Change Requests and Change Orders.
  • Manages and supervises Medford Wellington labor force and oversees subcontractors 
  • Develops project scope of work, budgeting and estimated costs for work he/ she personally quotes. 
  • Develops a site safety plan for each project in conjunction with the safety manager that adheres to company and contractor safety policies and complies with specific project safety expectations as outlined in project contract documents
  • Communicates with other field personnel, project managers and department heads to allocate labor resources needed to fulfill job schedule expectations. 
  • Coordinates pulling of  permits and scheduling of inspections 
  • Perform monthly job cost reviews reporting profit status to management and prepare monthly projections for progress billing.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly job folder within Google Drive
  • Assures that contractual obligations have been met and prepares all close-out documents.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within mechanical contracting, HVAC, or plumbing industries.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam,Office, Excel etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements

License Required:

OSHA 30

Valid Driver’s License

MA CSL (Not Required but is a Plus)

Physical Requirements:

Lifting an average of 50lbs on a daily basis

Ability to safely operate all equipment mentioned in job description

Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and walking for extended periods of time

Other:

An individual must show a willingness to continue to develop skills in the Plumbing and HVAC/R trade as part of the continued learning process. Must show strong teamwork skills and also be capable of working independently.
