Job Description

As a member of Miltenyi Biotec's Global Technical Support Team, you will provide expert-level technical support across our product portfolio and deliver comprehensive product training to customers and colleagues. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Offering technical support to colleagues worldwide (sales, support, and service), distributors, and customers. This involves answering inquiries, providing application support, investigating, and troubleshooting technical issues, and managing our product knowledge database. 
  • Collaborating with our QA department to handle complaints and carefully documenting support activities to collect, analyze, and communicate data required for product performance analysis. 
  • Occasionally providing on-site support during customer demos, instrument installations, or troubleshooting, and creating, managing, and delivering product training both in-house and in the field worldwide. 
  • Supporting products throughout all stages of the product lifecycle by working closely with marketing, R&D, and production teams. 

Qualifications

  • You hold an academic degree (Master or PhD) in natural science (biology, biotechnology, or medicine), engineering, or a comparable scientific education. 
  • Proven experience in various biological fields such as cell biology, immunology, hematology, neurology, or stem cells is essential. Experience with clinical cell manufacturing, flow cytometry, cell culture, functional assays, or transfusion medicine is an advantage. 
  • As a strong communicator in English, you can discuss technical issues and convince stakeholders through written and oral presentations. Additionally, you possess a high level of proficiency in another foreign language (German, French, Italian, or Spanish). 
  • You are skilled in serving customers and have a strong service-oriented mindset, including an understanding of global 24/7 support for critical applications and a willingness to cover occasional weekend and public holiday shifts. 
  • This position is office-based but requires regular international travel.
