M. A. Mortenson Company seeks a full-time Project Manager based in Minneapolis, MN. The Project Manager provides overall leadership direction to construction projects, including the management of financial health, project quality, timeliness, and safety, as well as the mentoring of the project team.
This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years related experience in the construction industry. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in the construction industry. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) managing billings and cost procedures during preconstruction and subcontracting; (2) developing and distributing requests for information and change orders; (3) defining and implementing procedures for posting revisions and updates to as-build construction documents; (4) establishing handling procedures for electronic construction project documents; and (5) utilizing the following tools and technologies: ProCore, Sage, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto, Bluebeam, AUTOCAD, gINT, Surveying, and Microsoft Office. Will accept experience gained before, during, or after Master’s program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. May work in various unanticipated locations in the United States. The base pay range for this role is $136,032 - $166,100. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
