Senior Technical Consultant - BCR Technical Lead

Overview

As a Senior Technical Consultant you will be responsible for the technical oversight of all ISO/Bureau Content Implementations.  You will oversee the support of existing ISO/BCR clients as well as work with delivery on new implementations.  You will oversee a team of BCR resources.  

 

Starting base pay for this role is between $105,000 and $135,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

Responsibilities

  • Configures the Origami Platform to meet client requirements
  • Work closely with Product on ISO/BCR Changes and Version Key Updates
  • Ensure adherence to Origami best practices are followed when ISO/BCR is being implemented.
  • Operate as the team lead for the BCR Team.
  • Oversee the work of Origami BCR team members
  • Translates solution blueprint (if available) and high level architecture / design into detailed design for project team members to execute upon.
  • Prepares training materials and conducts user training on BCR materials.  
  • Provides coaching and oversight of project team members to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Identifies potential scope creep / out-of-scope work and escalates to Project Manager.
  • Leverages Origami standard configuration where possible and follows established best practices and industry standards when designing, configuring, and consulting on solutions.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of previous technical consultant experience in a software delivery capacity
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • SQL, JavaScript, XML experience preferred
  • P&C Insurance industry (Policy, Claims or Billing) experience required
  • ISO Bureau Content & Admitted Policy experience a must
