Amentum is seeking an enthusiastic Program Scheduler to join the team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for:

Developing and managing schedules for all projects in the Annapolis Junction Office.
Providing critical path analysis, identifying problem areas, and creating work-around solutions.
Preparing and submitting monthly reports for internal and external clients.
Advising the team on matters affecting project success, schedule and cost impacts, and developing project recovery plans.
Being a participant in project management teams to assist in meeting project deadlines.
Developing and maintaining a change management program.
Identifying out of scope work items and assisting in creating change order requests to be presented to client, including estimated cost and schedule impacts.
Reviewing and recommending action on change order claims from subcontractors.
Within area of responsibility, consistently identifying potential project problems or opportunities in a proactive manner, analyzing the issues using all appropriate resources, developing alternatives and arriving at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities.
Interfacing with internal project teams and external clients.

Qualifications:

Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management and 5+ years of experience in the Construction Industry or equivalent experience.
Preferred - Scheduling Software Experience (ie. MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.)
Required - High Level of Computer Proficiency (ie. MS365 Suite)
Required - US Citizenship
