Phoenix Home Care and Hospice St. Louis is looking for an RN to join our Private Duty Nursing Team as our PDN Nurse Supervisor!

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse who excels in team leadership and possesses a strong problem-solving mindset. If you enjoy the dynamic nature of nursing operations and genuinely care for the nurses and families you support, you could be the perfect addition to our team!

Responsibilities

  • Supervise cases & nurses within the home setting.
  • Ensure operational standards are met.
  • Drive productivity and quality assurance
  • Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures.
  • Train new nurses in and outside the home setting
  • Evaluate nurses’ performance.
  • Instrument of open and positive communication
  • Help handle complaints or other issues.
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and nursing team.
  • Assess and document according to policy and POC.

Requirements

  • Active and current MO or applicable Compact Registered Nurse License.
  • 1-year pediatric nursing experience required.
  • Proven work experience as a supervisor
  • In-depth knowledge of private duty nursing is a plus but not required - we will train.
  • Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in nursing
  • Team supervision skills
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Valid nursing license
