Business Development Manager - Private Sector

Overview of the role 

Phoenix enables digital transformation in the workplace, empowering UK organisations to innovate and transform with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, data, AI, security, and collaboration tools.  

We are now looking for a highly experienced Business Development Manager to help build our private sector business. 

 

What will you be doing? 

  • Increase the numbers of trading customers and increase the profitability of existing ones within the private sector 
  • Establishes trust, understand the customers business and work to strengthen the partnership over time. 
  • Attend face to face customer meetings and conference calls to scope and qualify and nurture the opportunities, and demonstrate the technology to them 
  • Manage the sales pipeline for your account base and report key deals and opportunities to the Divisional Sales manager when required.

What are we looking for? 

  • Proven experience selling IT solutions to the private sector within a reseller environment 
  • IT industry experience preferably around Software Licensing. IT Infrastructure, Cloud, IT Services, Software Asset Management and Managed Service 
  • Experience of conducting external meetings and capturing actions 
  • Fantastic commercial awareness and acumen 
  • Strong team player

Where is the role based? 
Our HQ is in Pocklington (YO42), this role can be remote in the UK with monthly visits to the office. 

How many interviews? 
Following a screen with the Recruitment Team you can expect a two-stage interview process.
