Description
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining accounting and record-keeping functions and operate as the principal customer service liaison. Maintains industry administrative records to include inmate payroll and training records, staff training records, truck driver and DOT records as well as the customer and vendor files. Completes AP, AR and inventory transactions in D365 and reports discrepancies to management. Conducts past due invoice collection activities. Supervises and trains assigned inmate clerks in their tasks and ensures sufficient bench strength exist within assigned inmate workforce.

Requirements
Education and Experience: High school/GED, + 2 years supervisory experience. Business Administrative experience required. Some manufacturing experience preferred.
Language Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Mathematical Skills: Strong math skills.
Reasoning Ability: Training inmates in clerical techniques and coordinating issues pertaining to the business.
Specialized Knowledge and/or Skill:
Other Skills and Abilities: People/leadership skills. Personal time management. Honest, straightforward, dependable, pleasant, adaptable.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, use feet to operate pedals of vehicle; and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud – the dust level is moderate.
