Digital Application Delivery Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Application Delivery Director with deep expertise in SAP and manufacturing. This role is responsible for directing a team of Delivery Managers across the entire company (manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, HR, Finance), ensuring the successful delivery of software applications that drive business value and operational excellence.  The Digital Application Delivery Director will also be responsible for identifying strategic initiatives and helping develop our 3 year Digital Transformation strategy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of Delivery Managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the efficient design, development, and implementation of applications, including configuration, customization, and integration with other system
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive applications strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software application projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, manufacturing, and business units, to align project goals with organizational objectives
  • Develop and implement best practices, standards, and processes for software application delivery
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the delivery team
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance software delivery capabilities
  • Report monthly rolling forecasts with visibility to Full Year performance / opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT applications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, with a strong focus on SAP
  • Strong understanding of IT applications, including ERP, CRM, SCM, and other business systems
  • Experience delivering multiple complex systems and ERPs in a manufacturing organization, including at least 1 full end to end SAP implementation
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing delivery teams in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices including but not limited to DevOps and Agile
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Proven supplier relationship management experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience migrating from SAP ECC to S/4
  • Experience with cloud-based applications, such as SaaS or PaaS
  • Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

Location:

  • Schaumburg, IL

Travel Expectation:

  • As required based upon project workload, up to 25%

Total Rewards

The annual pay range estimated for this position is $209,800.00 - $314,700.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
