RN - Outpatient Oncology Infusion

Description

The outpatient infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Required qualifications:

  • Nursing degree/diploma.
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Chemotherapy administration experience
  • 2 years in Nursing
  • 2 years of Oncology experience
