As a Patient Care Tech at Saint Mary's Health Network, you'll be primarily responsible for providing direct patient care, including assisting with patient movement, managing safety screenings, and ensuring proper cardiac monitoring. You'll also work closely with technologists and other medical staff to prepare patients for exams and maintain a safe environment.

To qualify as a Patient Care Tech at Saint Mary's Health Network, candidates must hold a current EMT certification or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license specific to Nevada. Additionally, BLS certification, completion of Basic Arrhythmia training, and understanding of medical terminology are highly valuable.

While prior healthcare experience, especially in patient transportation and cardiac monitoring, is preferred, it's not strictly required. However, having a strong foundation in patient care and excellent communication skills will enhance your chances of success in the role.

New Patient Care Techs at Saint Mary's Health Network will undergo comprehensive training, including BLS certification, Basic Arrhythmia training, and specialized training in Radiation Safety.
