SGS Ireland is seeking to recruit a full time Talent Acquisition Partner on a 2 year fixed term contract based in our Ringaskiddy office. To support the business in recruitment. Strategically place top talent in the right positions  and ensure a structured process and policy is in line with Group policy and local Legislation. Supporting the wider HR function with a view to develop and broaden the successful candidates knowledge across SGS Ireland.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for recruitment activities of attraction, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer management and onboarding processes.
  • Take the Lead with the in-house recruitment tool; Smartrecruiters, ensure that it is being utilised to it’s full potential, including the reporting/analytics function.
  • Train Managers/Supervisors, all employees in the art of interviewing skills, including utilising Smartrecruiters and how to give feedback after an interview.
  • Provide reporting updates on recruitment metrics to all stakeholders, including identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Annual review of recruitment policy and procedure(s), ensuring fit-for-purpose.
  • Develop retention strategy for all business segments.
  • Engage with Segment Managers in forecasting and planning for their recruitment needs.
  • Participate in career fairs and working with third level Education providers in supporting Internships, Work Placements, Apprenticeships and building the SGS Brand.
  • Supporting the HR team with Admin, HR queries, HR point of contact and in some instances training support
  • Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct, and act in accordance with SGS Ireland’s Equality & Diversity Policy and ensure others do so.
  • At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and clients, in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in full life cycle recruitment in competitive and fast moving environments
  • Experience of using social media as attraction methods
  • High level competency in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Experience recruiting in Life Sciences - desirable

Knowledge of commonly used best practices and procedures within Recruitment and HR is preferred
