Associate HR Generalist

Job Summary

The Associate HR Generalist supports general HR duties, including onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. This role assists in facilitating orientations and maintaining documentation for operational efficiency. Additionally, the Associate HR Generalist helps ensure compliance with HR policies and supports HR audits.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

  • Assist with general HR duties such as onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Participate in cross-training to build knowledge and provide basic support across HR functions.
  • Support the management of employee relations cases under the guidance of more experienced HR staff. Assist in handling complaints and grievances with supervision.
  • Provide HR advisory support to employees and managers on routine HR matters, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Help facilitate orientations and presentations for new hires and existing employees under supervision.
  • Support system updates and improvements by providing input and assistance with data entry and basic operational tasks.
  • Assist in drafting HR-related policies and documentation, focusing on improving employee experience and compliance.
  • Help maintain documentation of compliance activities, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support HR audits and compliance reviews, assisting in the identification of areas for improvement under supervision.

Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor's degree (Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology preferred)
  • 1+ years of HR experience preferred, preferably in a HR Generalist role
  • 1+ years of Employee Relations experience preferred

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $45,000 - $75,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
