Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a customer focused Food  Retail Manager 2 for Colorado Mesa Universitylocated in beautiful and  vibrant Grand Junction, Colorado. Grand Junction is a city that is a perfect playground for experiencing two seasons of sports at once. Come discover a different side of Colorado in Grand Junction!  

 

This Retail Manager will oversee the day to day operations of multiple Nationally Branded and non branded food concepts, working through supervisors at each location to maintain brand standards, strong customer service, managing cash, deposits, Point of Sale systems

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day for multiple food retail operations, working through supervisors
  • deliver high quality food safety, food service, and excellent customer service
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships 
  • ensure food and labor costs and all cash handling and POS systems
  • create a positive and welcoming environment for students and employees

  • have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively 
  • have 2-3 years food service experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
