Sportradar Virtual Gaming GmbH leverages artificial intelligence to create cutting-edge virtual sports betting solutions. We empower betting providers around the world to offer 24/7 live betting on simulated sports events—from cricket to tennis and basketball. Your Challenge

  • Innovate in an Interdisciplinary Environment: Coordinate with graphic designers, product managers, and fellow developers to craft and maintain brand-new features for virtual sports simulations.

  • Performance & Cloud Optimization: Partner with Sportradar specialists to fine-tune performance, improve cloud solutions, and ensure our products run seamlessly at all hours.

  • Ownership & Autonomy: If you see a process that can be improved, go for it. We support initiative and encourage creative solutions.

  • Lifecycle Management: Define, develop, deploy, and monitor solutions with your team—covering everything from the first lines of code to sunsetting older features.

Your Profile

  • Java Expertise: You are an experienced senior or a mid-level ready for the next step with at least 4 years of professional experience delivering well-structured, maintainable code; strong knowledge of Java, preferably on Java 11 or later (we use 17).

  • Front-End Familiarity: Capable of bridging the gap between front-end and back-end.

  • DevOps Mindset: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab pipelines, and overall SDLC practices.

  • Modern Development Principles: Comfortable with SOLID, TDD, XP, and the practices that keep code clean and teams agile.

  • Team Player with Communication Skills: A good command of English (written and spoken); self-motivated and collaborative.

  • Continuous Learner: Committed to refining not just software, but also team processes and your own soft and hard skill set.
