Direct Care Staff (Experienced)

Join Our Team!! Part Time and Full Time positions available. 

Spread Your Wings was established in 2015 in a small one room office in Morgan Hill, California. Since then, has expanded with 10 offices now across California and more plans to expand further. We are dedicated to providing a wide range of services to intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals. We are currently seeking motivated individuals, with a real passion for helping others to join our Supportive Living Services team in Oakland, CA. 

As a personal care attendant, you would help to maintain a safe, supportive environment, which ensures the quality of living of our clients. You would work closely with individuals to provide the appropriate support tailored to their abilities, needs, desires and interests to enable each to live as independently as possible. By assisting, supporting, encouraging, empowering and teaching individuals to achieve their set goals established in their ISP. While consistently following the individual(s) treatment plans, you would provide companionship, guidance, and supervision, so that they can have an independent life of their choosing, leading to a brighter future.

Available shifts
Shift 1: 6am-2pm
Shift 2: 2pm-10pm
Shift 3: 10pm - 6am

$20/hour

  • Reliable, energetic, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Act as a positive role model to support client and establish a constructive and appropriate personal relationship with client.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with extreme behaviors is required.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Must satisfactorily pass DOJ background check.
  • Must satisfactorily pass motor vehicle record check.
  • Must have a valid and current California driver’s license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and valid vehicle registration for all driving positions.
  • CPR/First Aide Certification
