Who we’re looking for 

Toyota’s Indirect Procurement Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Procurement Sourcing Analyst.

  

The primary responsibility of this role will support the Indirect Procurement department's objective to implement procurement strategies to reduce cost and mitigate risk for the business.

Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Manager for Professional Services, the person in this role will lead creation and execution of category procurement strategies for Human Resources. Responsible sourcing commodities are Benefits, Onsite Clincs/Pharmacy, Corporate Training, Relocation and Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll be doing  

  • Develop and implement multi-year sourcing strategies for responsible spend categories.

  • Effectively design and manage all sourcing activities including RFPs and RFQs.

  • Support the development and execution of contractual documents including Non-Disclosure, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work and other agreements as necessary to support Procurement and business needs.

  • Build and maintain close relationships with business units and supplier partners to deliver comprehensive and cross-enterprise process improvement solutions.

  • Communicate and educate business units and suppliers on current procurement policies and procedures.

  • Develop strategies for cost reduction and lead negotiations of all fees, rates, subsidies and any other cost associated with the above commodities.

  • Manage req to PO process for the above commodities

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar

  • Proven, progressive procurement experience

  • Demonstrated experience creating procurement strategic activities

  • Demonstrated collaboration, communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills

  • Demonstrated negotiation experience

  • Strong knowledge of contract process

Added bonus if you have

  • Familiarity with SAP Ariba

  • Automotive industry experience

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexities and successfully set priorities for meeting time-bound deliverables

  • Demonstrated experience creating procurement strategic activities

  • Exceptional analytic, organization, presentation and interpersonal skills with applied solid judgement and strategic thinking
